So we didn't feel like waiting until March to post this one...it is Microsoft's answer to Apple's PC stereotype. Thanks to Mona and Jed at Liv Films for their 3 seconds of awesomeness. Either I smell Nate's arse or a sequel for March.

Original Rick Roll
All the cool kids are "Rick Rollin" (which is the forcing of someone to either watch or hear Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" hit single....http://www.yougotrickrolled.com/) but what you may not realize is that its not something new or even original. People have been getting Rick Rolled since the beginning of time....or at least since the airing of Perfect Strangers, a popular ABC sitcom from the late 80s. Everyone loved that crazy Balki Bartokomous with his high fashion and hysterical foreign accent, but who knew he was such a trendsetter?? (special guest appearance by the mom from Family Matters)

Castro Quits and Gets Endorsement
Fidel Castro today announced his resignation as president of Cuba. Check out Castro’s sweet “I just quit my dictatorship” Adidas jacket as seen on CNN. QUITE a statement he’s making! But the bigger statement is the matching Adidas speedo he has on.

The Mount Rushmore of Rock and Roll

Attention Cheeks fans! A new way to disagree - Mount Rushmore Lists!
While hanging out on vacation with friends, we’ve had drunken discussions about everything from religion to farting, leaving no topic ignored. Since most (read: all) of these disagreements come while drinking we needed a simple topic with a short response so we could keep track under the influence! Usually we end up talking (read: arguing) about who and what are the "best of" or "worst of" something.
So one night I threw out a different angle to the discussion. Here's the idea: You are given $10 million to create a Mount Rushmore of Rock and Roll. The four faces you choose should be the ones who truly define what rock and roll is to this day. So we all came up with our own versions and argued until the beer was all gone! The one rule we put in was that one Rushmore face cannot be more than one person, like a band. (One knucklehead's list was Led Zeppelin, The Who, etc.)
The "Mount Rushmore" idea carries over to many of these drunken topics, so here is the first of many “Rushmore Lists” which I will post to get the arguments started!
The Mount Rushmore of Rock and Roll
1. Elvis Presley - the father of rock music period.
2. Chuck Berry - the grandfather (the one with the drinking problem) of rock who put the twang and the soul into rock music.
3. John Lennon - the man who man who made the lyrics as important as the sounds of rock music.
4. Janis Joplin - the first lady of rock. Joplin brought the female voice to the game and also brought the hippie swagger and the gritty heart which all rock and rollers must have.
So there ya go. if you have a different Rushmore of Rock than mine then 1: you're a big dummy and my list is better, and b: post your list here so we can argue about it till we all turn blue in the face....

Ethan Hawke expecting
So…Ethan Hawke and his girlfriend are having a baby…not that THAT is big news…or that I even remembered who Ethan Hawke was…but some of the News media must still be pissed at him for screwing up things with Uma ‘God she is funny looking’ Thurman. Now his publicist said, “I can confirm and they are thrilled,” but the CNN photo warrants a caption more along the lines of “eeeeeeehhhhh, what?”
And the Auzzie’s LiveNews.com publishes the same story with a photo of Hawke looking as if he just found out he ate a dozen Dick Donuts (Dick Donuts are donuts you put in your pants, take pictures of them in your pants, put then back in the box, serve them and then share the photos from step 2 with the donut eaters). It is hardly the photo you should choose to show someone who is ‘thrilled’. So we are going to play ‘the press’ and link up today’s headlines with related (yet probably not the most appropriate) photos.

Pennsylvania Football Heritage
Our great home state of Pennsylvania has long been known as a keystone in American Football history. The first professional game was played here. Pittsburgh is the “Cradle of Quarterbacks" producing greats such as Dan Marino, Joe Montana, Johnny Unitas, and Joe Namath. And now, as if letting anyone watching from space aware of our rich football heritage, we are the first state to artistically (and accurately) depict the actual conception of modern football with this magnificent field illustration. You make us proud PA football fans and players!
